The altimeter is very accurate as long as you initialize it with a reference altitude prior to your climb/hike. The face does not fog at altitude. I have not found the forecast feature to be accurate most of the time, but who forecasts the weather accurately anyway? The temperature feature is relatively useless due to bodyheat and the fact that you may often have your hands in your pockets, gloves, etc., but that's normal for all these watches.
