Compass Didn’t Work

The compass didn’t work at all for me. I’m not expecting precision, but mine wouldn’t read to within 100 degrees; it never – yep, never – pointed South. Yes, I followed the directions for calibration, several times. Yes, I set the declination properly, though it hardly mattered for such a big margin of error.

I see other reviewers had success with the compass, so it’s possible I had a lemon. But after my multiple attempts to correct the problem through calibration, I wasn’t willing to spend more time on a replacement.

If you do get one with a working compass, then this is a worthwhile, inexpensive watch. But it’s not worthwhile as a plain timepiece.

Nice product but a little overpriced

The only reason my wife purchased this watch for me is because of the compass feature. But to my disappointment this feature could only be compared to a knock off perfume or spray with the title “Our Version of”… The feature doesnt perform as well as a normal compass could and in conclusion this watch should NOT be priced more than a walmart watch for 15 to 20 bucks in my opinion. The only feature this watch has over the walmart watchs is the compass feature, hardly worth an extra 20 bucks for the watch. Oh well… =
